Dave and his wife Theresa founded Sombra Antigua Winery in 2008, along with their family. David graduated from NMSU with a degree in Chemical Engineering with which he had a long and successful professional career. He has been a serious wine enthusiast and amateur wine maker for over 40 years and upon “retirement” decided to fulfill a dream of starting and running a winery. Along with the constant attention required at the winery, Dave is very involved in community affairs.
