ARRIVAL- DIRECTIONS & PARKING 
(Please See Attached Maps) 

  • Arrive at least 15 minutes before your shift so we can get everyone checked in and oriented with the event.
  • Enter the Park by using the North Entrance via Balloon Fiesta Parkway, NOT Balloon Museum Dr. The easiest way will be FROM ALAMEDA, TAKE SAN MATEO to Balloon Fiesta Parkway. 
  • Park in the attendee parking lot just east of the festival site (Google Map).
  • Parking is free.

STAFF CHECK-IN 

  • Check-in at the “Production Office” tan portable office building on the East side of the field (labeled in blue on the attached map).
  • Do not leave any valuables in the break room. Lock them in your car.  
  • Groups will gather according to their position and lead to your location by the team leader.

DRESS CODE

  • Please dress for comfort and weather. We anticipate hot weather this weekend. 
  • Bottoms: Anything is fine as long as they are at a “family-friendly” length.
  • Please bring umbrellas, hats to help with sun, especially for crowd control and parking lot attendants.
  • Most positions will be under tents. 
  • Parking Team– bring comfortable shoes, hats, umbrellas, water bottles. 

REFRESHMENTS 

  • Lunch, Snack items and water will be provided.
  • Since we are not able to accommodate all dietary restrictions, please feel free to bring your own lunch/snacks if you prefer. 

PAYMENT and W-9’s

  • Please complete and bring a W-9 to your shift. Access Blank W9 HERE
  • We will have extra copies in the Production Office. 
  • There will be a confidential envelope to place these items. You are also welcome to email them to me at staff@blueriverproductions.com
  • W-9s are required in order to be paid. 
  • Payments will be sent to the address you provide on your W-9 from the NM Wine Festival.
  • Please complete the W-9 even if you have completed one in the past.

FOR ALL EMPLOYEES/STAFF/VOLUNTEERS (even if you have filled this out before):

  • Before your first shift – complete this online form, to be signed by a Guardian for anyone under 18:
  • You can also print and sign a copy here. Access FORM HERE
  • You can also sign one day off in the Production Office. 

If any changes are necessary or if you need to cancel or be reassigned, please contact me.  Don’t forget sunglasses, sunscreen, a reusable water bottle, and comfortable walking shoes!
